Dr. McCurdy grew up in Warm Springs, Georgia.
He received his B.A. at Mercer University and
received his DDS from the University of Tennessee
College of Dentistry in 1971. He practiced
with the US Public health service until 1973 when he
began training in Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery. Upon graduation from the OMS
residency he entered private practice in
Clarksville, Tennessee. He has published
articles professionally in the following journals:
"Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, & Oral
Pathology" and "Journal of
Prosthetics".
He is a member of the
American Dental Association, Tennessee Society
of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Tennessee
Dental Association, American Society of Dental
Anesthesiology and International Congress of Oral
Implantology. He is also a Member of the American Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. McCurdy has distinguished himself in
community roles to include President Clarksville
Chamber of Commerce, Chaiman, President of the
United Way Clarksville-Montgomery County, Board of
Trustees Clarksville Academy, and President of the
Economic Development Council. He has served as
a teacher, Deacon and Elder at the First
Presbyterian Church.
Dr. McCurdy is married to Jane. who holds a
BSN and Masters in Nursing.
