 Dr. Ted R. McCurdy
Dr. McCurdy grew up in Warm Springs, Georgia.  He received his B.A. at Mercer University and received his DDS from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1971.  He practiced with the US Public health service until 1973 when he began training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.  Upon graduation from the OMS residency he entered private practice in Clarksville, Tennessee.  He has published articles professionally in the following journals: "Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, & Oral Pathology" and "Journal of Prosthetics".

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Tennessee Dental Association, American Society of Dental Anesthesiology and International Congress of Oral Implantology.  He is also a Member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

Dr. McCurdy has distinguished himself in community roles to include President Clarksville Chamber of Commerce, Chaiman, President of the United Way Clarksville-Montgomery County, Board of Trustees Clarksville Academy, and President of the Economic Development Council.  He has served as a teacher, Deacon and Elder at the First Presbyterian Church.

Dr. McCurdy is married to Jane. who holds a BSN and Masters in Nursing.


 Dr. R. Terry Ellis
Dr. Ellis is a native of Paris, Tennessee.  He graduated from Henry County High School.  He then received his B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Murray State University.   Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1982 he was commissioned in the US Army Dental Corps as a Captain.  He attended a one-year General Practice Residency at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.  In 1990 Dr. Ellis began residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Ft. Gordon, Georgia.    He graduated from the ADA Accredited program then received American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Certification in 1996. He was Chief, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital from 1996-98 and served as an OMS teaching mentor to the Advanced Education Program General Dentistry 1-yr while at Ft. Campbell, KY. He left the Army in 1998 and entered into private practice with Dr. McCurdy.  Dr. Ellis has staff privileges at Skyline Medical Center and Clarksville Surgery Center.  He renewed his Board Certification in 2004. 

 Dr. Ellis served as the President of the 8th District Dental Society in 2005-2006.    He is a member of the American Dental Association and Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. 

He has written an electronic medical record which he uses to help him administer reliable care to his patients.  Many other practitioners use the program including cardiologists, pain management specialists and other oral & maxillofacial surgeons.

 He has been married to his wife Janie for more than 25 years. He is a deacon and teacher at the Hilldale Church of Christ.
